Myanmar Chin State is located in the north-west of Myanmar. To the north and east of Chin Myanmar State is Sagaing one of famous tourist place in Mynmar, to the south are Magway Division and Rakhine State, and to the west are Bangladesh and India. Capital is Hakha in Chin State. Myanmar Chin state has a mild hot, wet climate compare to other region of Myanmar. April and May are the hottest month of the year. In the cold season, temperatures fall as low as freezing point of water in the higher parts of towns like Hakha, Foshaik and Kanpetlet. Average annual rainfall is 80-100 inches. The southern part of Chin Myanmar Procince gets more rain due to the storms that come from Bay of Bengal.

Majority of the people in this areas are Chins, other like Mros (mago) Khamis and Bamars also live in Chin State. Pine trees grow especially in areas with an altitude of more than 3,000 feet. Taungzalat or tree rhododendron grows in areas of higher altitudes. Tree rhododendron and orchids beautify the Chin State Myanmar. There are also many kinds of orchids which grow naturally. Paddy is the main crop grown on farmlands at lower altitudes while millet is the major crop in areas of higher altitudes. Other crops and plants grown are maize, beans and pulses, potatoes, sunflower, cotton, sugarcane, tobacco, coffee, mulberry, various kinds of vegetables, banana and fruits such as orange and apple. There is a beautiful heart shape lake called "Reh" close to the Indian border. Mt. Victoria can also be climbed. The Nat-Ma-Taung or the Mt. Victoria nature park in the Chin Province is one of the main Myanmar tourist attractions.

Hakhar
Hakhar is the capital of Chin State in Myanmar. The city is 6120 ft above sea level and it lies at the foot of Rungtlang (Mount Rung), which is about 7543 ft high, and is one of the most famous and beautiful mountain peaks in the Myanmar Chin State.
